Created in 1969, the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering is known for providing a solid education to its students. Today, it runs a Major in Operations Research and a Minor in Industrial Engineering, leading to an undergraduate degree in Civil Industrial Engineering. As part of its postgraduate program, a Master and Doctorate of Science, as well as a Professional Master are also on offer. In addition, the department carries out cutting edge research in industrial engineering and makes a contribution to the community via several technology transfer projects.
